At Sunflower we strive everyday to create a unique and delightful experience for our customers. We are an independent shop serving our local area. Each piece ordered is custom and made to best represent your vision, intention, and of course the recipient.
Ordering through us does not involve a menu system. We want to hear you, what you love, and what your recipient loves. Our staff can help guide you through the ordering process and help you design that just right arrangement at the budget you need. Whether you have absolutely no clue, know exactly, or just want it done without thinking too hard, we can help.
On this page you will find pictures to help as a frame of reference. Please note that floral elements depicted are not always readily available, as these pictures are for example purposes only. We will happily discuss with you options available at the time of your call in reference to any arrangement you might see and like.
How to Order Flowers
Step 1: Who
Who are you sending to? We'll need to know the recipients name, address and phone number. Do they live in a gated community or work in a secured office? Any and all information available helps us ensure a successful delivery.
Step 2: What
What do you want to send? Do you have specific flower types in mind, or know which types are to be avoided? Does the recipient have a favorite color(s) or is it a specific occasion? All these details can help inform your design. Check out our images below for reference.
Step 3: Sentiment
What would you like to say? Each arrangement comes with a sentiment card ready to receive whatever message you would like to communicate with these flowers.
Step 4: Payment
How would you like to pay? Sunflower can process Visa or MasterCard payments over the phone.

Common Flower Types
There are so many types of flowers that express themselves in the world. With any given season there are hundreds of varieties sprouting up around the world. Some of them are beautiful only in the ground and others let us borrow them to bring inside. Flower growers have made great strides in providing a great variety of flower types that we can access from all across the world. That being said, these flowers are still subject to Mother Nature's final say and therefore are held to growing seasons. At Sunflower we keep an assortment of product that can support any style or design; with new product coming in every week, there's always something for you to design with. Below is a small example of flower types that we commonly have available in the cooler, in some variation or another. Please note that many specific floral types can be brought in on request. The earlier we have the order the better but we generally need minimum of 48hrs for special requests.

Delivery Policy
Sunflower is pleased to offer a delivery service for the local area including, Coeur d A'lene, Dalton Gardens, Hayden, Post Falls, Rathdrum and other outlying areas. Our minimum order for local deliveries is a $50.00 arrangement.
There is no delivery charge to English Funeral Chapel (CDA Location) and Yates Funeral Home (CDA Location)
Delivery to Kootenai Health Hospital is $10.00.
Delivery to most local locations is $15.00 - $20.00
Delivery to outlying areas range from $20.00-$25.00*
*outlying areas may have an adjusted minimum order requirement as well, check with our staff when ordering.
Anonymous Policy
Sending flowers should be a fun experience both for the sender and the recipient. We understand that sometimes sending an arrangement anonymously can add to that fun, and we're all for it. What we don't like is when a situation turns to unsettling.
To protect everyone from this situation Sunflower maintains a strict anonymous policy which is as follows:
A sender may choose to remain anonymous to the recipient when sending a floral arrangement through Sunflower Cottage. The sender will be required to give Sunflower Cottage their accurate contact information at time of payment. Should a recipient inquire as to the senders identity, Sunflower will inform the recipient that the sender requested anonymity. Should the recipient become uncomfortable with this situation or have reason to believe they are in any danger, Sunflower will provide the senders information and cooperate in any further dealings with the matter.
